Grade Level Coordinators Responsibility:

• Be The Go To Person on behalf of Your Grade Level working closely with Art Coordinators :)

• Organize Prints in the Art Awareness Print Cabinet for your Grade Level. 

•         Assign Volunteer from First Class of the Day to Pick Up Prints and Bring to Art Room

•         Assign Volunteer from Last Class of the Day to Take Prints Back to Print Cabinet and Organize in Grade Level Drawer

• Maintain Dates with Volunteers and Scheduling Coordinator.

• Coordinate Supplies with Stock Coordinator for your Grade Level Art Activities.

Classroom Coordinators Responsibilities:

• Be The “go to” Person on behalf of Your Classroom working closely with Grade Level Coordinator and Art Awareness Coordinator
• Organize Volunteers Attending for Each Date with Schedule Coordinator, Grade Level Coordinator and Art Awareness Coordinator
• Standardize the Style the Classroom Volunteers Prefer for Lessons and Activities – each Volunteer has their own style and the majority should Rule
  1. some volunteers prefer to divide each lesson equally distributing responsibilities of the artist lesson activity each date
     • pro – preparing the lesson is more fun when getting together to plan the lesson instead of preparing an entire lesson alone
     • pro – some volunteers were previously teachers, this style permits the teacher to come out strong benefiting the students for these volunteers to take more of a role in the discussion-teaching portions of the lessons for the artist and activity on each date
     • pro – do not like public speaking, this allows for such usually having these volunteers take more of the activity portion each date
     • pro – if someone is sick, one part is easily rectified by all rather than the entire lesson
     • con – some like to only be responsible for one date and one date only, some can only take off work once
  2. some volunteers prefer to assign one volunteer to “lead” the lesson responsible for the entire artist lesson activity, one lead per date
     • pro – the lead can prepare the lesson and activity at their convenience alone
     • pro – other volunteers can casually attend the lesson as helpers
     • pro – good for those who can only attend one date
     • con – if lead is sick, classroom art awareness can not cancel per classroom must cancel per entire grade so someone must take the lead responsibility
     • con – not good for those not liking to speak publicly, but easily overcome by trading that portion with one who is
• First Classroom Gather Prints, Materials and Supplies
• Last Classroom Organize Prints, Materials and Supplies and Put Away Contacting Supply Coordinator of Low Inventories
• Rewards: if you are going to provide treats for one classroom … you must coordinate treats for all classes
