What is Art Awareness? An art appreciation curriculum.  Volunteers present a lesson prepared by the Cincinnati Art Museum in their child’s classroom.  The lesson consists of teaching about an artist, showing prints of their work, and then doing an activity with your child and classmates. 

 

What if I’m not an artist? You don’t need to be!  The lesson plan booklet gives you all the information you need.  Everything is provided. 

 

When will it be? Lessons will be held during four of your child’s art classes.  (See back for most classroom art schedules)
